108 - Mathematical significance. An attendant of Lord Shiva, Tandu teaches and instructs Bharta muni about 108 Karanas and angharas. Later, Bharta muni passed the knowledge of Karanas to his successors. Karnas are intricate and complicated dance movements of lord Shiva the creator of the cosmic dance. I always wondered why the number 108 is significant in the Hindu tradition and why the numbers of Karanas are restricted only to the number 108. One can observe 108 Karanas on the wall of temples in south India. Few temples have all of 108 and some have less than 108. The sculptural illustrations are evident in the four temples of south India. The Rajarajeshwara temple in Tanjore, Nataraja temple in Chidambaram, Arunachaleshwara temple in Triuvanallmalai, and Vriddagirishwara temple in Vriddachalam The numbers of sculptural illustrations vary in each temple, few temples represent Karanas by the carvings of male dancers and few by female dancers. Have you ever wondered what the most outstanding work of art in the world is? Is it Monalisa, The Taj mahal? Or the human body?" Human body is the most significant work of art". What would have happened? If a human had three ears, one hair, multiple legs, and one ear. I am sure it sounds like an alien straight out of a Hollywood movie. But thanks to the creator of the humans, someone had patience in designing the human body with sheer dedication and proportion. Science says the balance of the human body is due to the two ears present in the human body. Fun fact, humans are the only living animals who can change the morphology of their bodies. That's why dancing is the knowledge humans have mastered over the centuries. Aramandi is the basic posture of Bharata Natyam dancer. It's the most used posture in Bharata Natyam, in which the dancer compresses their height to 3/4th of the original height. The word Ara means half, and mandi means knee. The compression of height is

The children between the age of five and seven are true word-lovers. They show a predisposition toward such a study. Their minds are undeveloped hence cannot yet grasp any simple idea with disagreement. At the age of eight, I was made to learn Sanskrit and Vedic mathematics with the highest quality of learning and a logical approach to the solutions. The concept of Gurukulam or alternate school where the parents submit their kids to the institute to make them the most excellent scholar in Philosophy is the age-old practice. I was fortunate I had to go through that at the early stages of my life, which doctrine the discipline of reading, analysing, and debating over the philosophical concepts that are strenuous and are far beyond the understanding level of any other kid in the schools of Modern education system. One should visit these schools at least once in their lifetime to understand the actual meaning of education and teacher. It's not a marvel that you might get to see a kid
