They learn the chronicle that leads to the journey of the King of the Yadava dynasty, Lord Krishna, from Dwaraka to Udupi. The play addresses how the longing of his mother Devaki and the steadfastness of Queen Rukmini along with the destruction of Dwaraka lead to the construction of the world-famous Krishna temple at Udupi by Shri Madhwacharya in the middle of the 13th century.
